In an effort to be more responsive to patient needs and provide care more effectively to its 10 million residents, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors approved the creation of a single, integrated health agency that unites the Departments of Health Services, Mental Health, and Public Health.
On April 20, 2016
The USC Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work Department of Adults and Healthy Aging offered a conversation about what this new integration of care could mean for delivery of services to the people of Los Angeles.
